Black-painted beams, thick varnish and tired timber come back to natural wood with soft media blasting. It follows the grain and gets into the texture where sanding cannot.

FAQ
Timber & beams: questions
Does blasting leave timber rough?
+
Soft media leaves a slightly textured, natural finish that suits beams. For furniture you may want a light sand before finishing.
Do you offer mobile blasting?
+
Yes. Choose "mobile" when you book and tell us the address. Some jobs, such as fixed railings, boats in a yard or beams in a house, are best done on site.
How much does blasting cost?
+
Price depends on size, coating and access. Send photos through the contact form for a quote. A half-day or full-day slot is often the simplest way to price larger jobs.
